Looking at last Sunday which was also a level 3 crowd day, the posted wait time at 3pm was 95m. So yeah, roughly half.

Am offsite so thinking might try and wait to do rror at the end of the night, might be quieter than start of day and stick to plan of sdd at rope drop. Only going for week but will definitely be at HS atleast twice so fingers crossed. Would wait an hour but not 2 ... I dont think lol 😀

Well, unless you go at a quieter time of year, like September. In the latter half of August and throughout September the wait times were really short and paying for LLs wasn't really necessary for most of the rides.
This week is Thanksgiving Week - one of the most popular times of the year - and the parks are all full to capacity. Wait times this week are going to be huge in comparison to most of the rest of the year (except Easter and Christmas). And remember, you can still join the standby queue. Sure, that might mean a long wait, but that's true of many popular rides at a lot of theme parks during peak times.

We usually go September..always low crowds. I couldn't imagine going height of season before genie plus let alone now, especially if off site. I personally, apart from having to pay, have no issues but I'm one of two, go low season, stay onsite... Cards stacked in my favour Versus Family of 4/5 Staying off site Summer holidays Which is why genie plus will be received differently from family to family |

Yes, agreed.
There are several variables and they can and do change things differently for different families. If a family doesn't do rope drop, doesn't want to pay to skip the queues at all, goes during one of the peak periods (etc) then unfortunately they are probably going to be faced with long waits - as one might expect when visiting the most popular theme park resort in the world. The free fastpasses helped to mitigate that somewhat but, as we've known for a while now, sadly Disney no longer provides these for free. As people have pointed out, Disney seems to be going out of its way to put people off visiting by removing various perks, putting off the return of some attractions and generally reducing the value and level of service when visiting the WDW parks. But that doesn't seem to be enough and the parks are still going to be busy which is going to impact some families.

I have been reading on facebook that it looks like the stacking option ‘loophole’ has been closed and you can now only have one LL at a time. Some are reporting that when they tap into a LL for the attraction, its not allowing you to book another until another 2 hours have passed if you already have a later LL booked. Appears that Disney is tweaking their new system… presumably to stop so many LL’s becoming unavailable so soon in the day now that they are getting into the holiday season.

If you are planning to rope drop those guests that are staying onsite could be there 30 minutes before you as they get "early entry". Just depends on how many decide to go to HS on that morning.

Lots of Facebook posts showing there is little to no Genie availability, even if you pay for it. I thought this may happen in busy times.
My friend is there at the moment- went to Universal yesterday and had a MUCH better time. Lots of rides and lots of characters. Such a shame, WDW doesn’t have to be like this. It’s busy now post pandemic because you can get away with anything, but customer satisfaction is plummeting.
