Which AirPods?

Thinking of getting a pair. I already have the Bose QC35II but would like the earbuds for when I'm out walking the dog.


I am thinking either of these:-
AirPods 3rd Gen or the Airpod Pros

Which ones are the better.

I have AirPods Pro. I had the older style AirPods and switched for a couple of reasons..

- Pro have noise cancellation, which means I can listen to an audiobook whilst DH is snoring without much interruption.

- It comes with interchangeable silicon tips, to make a more snug fit. Important to me because I have tiny ears and the originals slipped out a lot.

- Sound quality is better on the Pros.

So, it depends wether those extra features are worth the additional price for you xx

I have found the pro's for £185 and the 3's are still £169 so for the extra £15 I think I'll go for the pro's.

Yeah that's a good price for them, and worth it for the noise cancellation and comfort! I'd recommend a case cover for them too. I bought this one from Amazon but there are a load of different types/styles

My son has the Bose headphones which he loves and he chose the AirPod Pros. He’s really happy with them.

One of my boys has the old style AirPods which he prefers as he doesn’t like the feel of the pros in his ears.

I was looking at the AirPods 3rd gen and they reminded me of the headphones you used to get with the iPhones. I remember my ears used to ache after wearing those for awhile so I thought the pros would be better.

M6 son that has the pros (and Bose) says that the pros are a lot more comfortable. My son that doesn’t like the feel has sensory issues so it’s a ‘him’ thing rather than the pros not being comfortable.
