TUI cancelling some US flights

We’ve booked a TUI package for April next year & have just seen on another site that TUI are cancelling March and April flights due to low demand and restarting later in the spring. No email from them yet, but wondered if anyone else is affected and has heard anything?
Plan B will be very expensive now if needed.

I was reading about people being cancelled on FB earlier this week. I think they were saying it up to a certain date in March so far. Maybe try searching on FB.

I was cancelled a few weeks ago (I posted a thread about it if you search TUI you’ll find it on here) had holiday booked since last October & was booked on a flight from Birmingham Saturday 2nd April 2022……they didn’t let me know just emailed me a change & when I rang app my accommodation & flight was no longer available
Long story short I am left with no holiday…..due to date restrictions & all direct flights for possible dates of departure being sold out 🤬

My flight in May has 241 people booked on it and its a 787-9 so room for another 100!

You will be okay if you are flying from Manchester. It’s the smaller airports where they are consolidating and cancelling flights

That sounds hopeful, Moorlandman - it is from Manchester in April, but Newcastle in July...

Seeing some of the prices for TUI in April I'm not surprised the uptake is low.
