Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld

I've just booked this for two weeks in late Sept 2022. Never stayed in a hotel in Orlando before, we normally stay in a villa but prices have gone bonkers.

Any feedback on this place? It seems to get reasonable reviews.

We've stayed there before and it was very good.

Great location to get on and off the i4 and can drive through the convention centre if on idrive to get back to the hotel.

They were renovating the breakfast dining area as we left (4yrs ago I think).

Thank you for your reply. It was pretty cheap so that rang a few alarm bells.

If it's the Residence inn on Westwood Blvd it's lovely. Stayed there a few years ago and it has had a refurb since then. Nice breakfast too.

Just worried about noise issues as I'm a light sleeper and so is my other half.

I've cancelled and decided to splash out on the Rosen Shingle Creek instead!

Nice hotel, I have stayed their too. Shingle Creek is alot bigger and lovely, but it's just a hotel room.
Lovely pool areas, restaurants and grounds. Residence Inn is a suite with a full kitchen and lounge area. Alot smaller than Shingle Creek. If it was a family holiday I would choose Residence Inn for the bigger room, if it was just me and DH would choose Shingle Creek everytime.

It's just me and my wife - both in our 50s. Residence Inn is more of a family place, though the kitchenette would have been useful. In the end we went for the hotel because as this will be our last Florida trip for a while we wanted something with a touch of luxury.

You will both love it. Make sure you get an ice cream from the ice cream parlour at the pool. Lovely.
Have a walk round the nature trail. Hotel looks very impressive when you drive up the driveway to it. Have a fab time.
