Currently in the uk under 12 don’t need to wear masks, no idea of if the vaccine will be offered to them so they can’t force parents to test them but the adults will need to take the test with it more likely if the parents both test positive then it’s more than likely the kids got the virus as well.
Not really. If parents are vaccinated they may never catch it from their kids. So now we have children not wearing masks and not getting tested. Why bother testing anyone?

Kids weren't been tested to come home last week so nothing changed.

Let's not turn this into 'I have to so they should'.

Personally I'm glad families of young children don't have this added worry/expense.

I tested positive and so did the misses and both kids and I’m double jabbed and so is the misses. The worst thing I had no symptoms which they state 1 in 3 don’t have also we did 2 home tests on my DD which was negative but the school said before she could go back had to also go for a PCR test which came back positive.

I’m not. I don’t go until April so it’s not about that. It’s about the ridiculousness of having some of the flight requiring a test and some not.

Yes but being vaccinated makes it less likely the parents will contract it.

Makes no sense at all when younger children have been having the highest number of positive cases! Just confirms the government have no idea what they are doing.

By April we could have a whole new set of rules, that probably make even less sense 😅
