Thank you that’s very doable 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well, I wonder if I can use this damn placeholder I have floating for cancelling our Oct cruise. 😂😂😂
If dates matched we would be there like a shot- wonder how many UK based Platinum folks there are. Now I am wondering if it will just be a free for all! 🤷🏻

We are currently booked on the Disney magic for a Baltic cruise this August from Copenhagen to Dover. This announcement has got me hoping that our cruise may possibly go ahead after all, although whether we will be allowed to stop at any of the ports is another matter. If the Baltic cruise gets cancelled I’m definitely tempted to book one of these shorter cruises instead.

I would actually love to do this, always wanted to do a Disney Cruise but didn't really fancy the longer ones and never had time to squeeze it into an Orlando holiday. If the price is reasonable (that's a very big if I know) I would be up for it.

I have been pining for the Magic since our Med cruise in 2017. I would love this. However I do worry slightly that it's higher risk than, say, a WDW holiday, as basically you would be indoors for 4 days. But I'm sure they have taken all things into account.

I know I was hugely impressed with their hygiene procedures even before Covid, and if there was any cruise line I would feel comfortable with, it's DCL.

Just waiting for details now then!

I wouldn't 100% count on actual dates being released before they go on sale. Most of the other cruise lines released rough estimates (i.e. 4 night sailings from August type announcement) and then the dates came out the morning they went on sale. Hopefully Disney might be a bit more organised.

So the Magic has been in Dover since last year mind so you could go down and see her anyway its just a bit of a slog.

Yep so we booked a 4 night on Princess on Tuesday when they opened sales. This does however include a drinks package which Disney has never offered so is unlikely to. That said I would still expect Disney to be priced higher. I think their standard 4 night cruises in the Bahamas are around at least £2600 for 2 adults for a balcony room. Princess (and others) are only selling balcony and above so I would think they are going to be high. Still really interested in looking at least and seeing the restrictions they have in terms of COVID vaccinations - Princess has gone fully vaccinated to sail which means they are likely to not have children onboard in August where as some lines have said Children are exempt.

Yes indeed!

My previous experience was an inside stateroom and it was fine - but I think now I would want a balcony ‘just in case’!

Well I have to say this was a surprise, I saw DCL as just sitting this UK frenzy out...

Now I have a quandary, as I have already booked a Princess itinerary in September (that I now have growing anxiety I won't be vaccinated in time for) and I am trying to buy a house.

DCL is never cheap, so these might be eye watering prices. But I know I will get FOMO. I guess I will wait and see what detail is provided, but I am trying to work my way through the DCL fleet, and with only Wonder checked off, this would be my best option for Magic in the foreseeable future!

I feel you wont even get that choice mind. I love inside rooms and having to have a balcony on my Princess cruise as they are only doing Balcony sailings I assume in case there is any issues with quarantining - better not be lol I feel DCL will do similar
