Here at Whinnfell Forrest

We are here for a week with 3 under 5s the oldest turns 5 as we head home
It’s our Scottish school week ( we had planned taking all the Gdks to Florida over the summer but not to be )
The pool was really quiet on our 2/30 to 5/29 spot and the kids loved it
But since we got in to our lodge not so great we seem to have a hen / stag party in the row of lodges right across from us they have been full on from 5pm and I mean loud and the language the last half hour
DH is obviously asleep I’m not
In 30+ years of coming to,CP we’ve never had this ever

Oh dear. I think there’s a security number you can ring. We went in August and one night there was loud music from one of the treehouses nearby. Someone must have rung as my daughter said a security van drove down past our lodge and shortly after it all went quiet. Hope it’s quietened down and is a one off for you. We love Whinfell.

Well shoot Helen as you were looking forward to this trip with the bairns too. Hopefully it'll improve.

Oh no, definitely ring security. That’s not on at all and thankfully we have never experienced it.
Worse case speak to guest services in the morning.
They are usually very good.

Why in earth would they put stag/hen parties near the family accommodation? Perhaps they should provide specific weekends like Butlins do (or so I am told I haven't actually been).

I hope it doesn't spoil your much anticipated holiday Helen.

Oh NO 😢. That's horrible. I didnt think CP let in single sex parties? It's a family place, why would you want to go there and be rude and rowdy 🤷🏼 .

Really hope things settled down and you can enjoy the rest of your weekend x
