MSC winter blue light offer

I just noticed MSC have a new cruise available for over the winter. Southampton to Hamburg, return to Southampton on the Magnifica.
50% blue light discount available until April. Very tempted at £479 for 2 in February but just not sure if I can stomach the North Sea in the winter time !

Has anyone else done a similar route that time of the year ?

We did a short cruise Harwich to Hamburg a few years back in February. The weather was really weird, the sea looked like glass, there was mist and in Hamburg it was minus 15.

Great cruise (not really a proper cruise it was a DFDS ferry but had restaurant, lounge, disco and cabins).

Just have pills on standby. I have to take pills for any cruise. I found on my recent cruise when it got a little choppy that a cocktail helped as well! 😂

would love to be like that, i have always had problems with my ears and think that might be something to do with it. Easily solved though

DH is on some of the MSC facebook groups and they do not get good reviews.

Its not something that I would spend my money on x

I am a bit too worried about the weather and how choppy it will be to book ! Fantastic bargain though. It doesn’t quite fit in with our half term unfortunately.

They do get a lot of bad reviews. I take some with a pinch of salt though. Some folk are professional complainers and people do tend to report back bad things and don’t mention the good. Less than £200 some weeks for a weeks entertainment and food I don’t think I could justify complaining about anything though.

I had said to DH that I will plan a cruise with anyone except MSC and Costa ( are Costa even still around ? ) !
