We have had three of those days and yes, they are rather depressing.

Whilst working on all three during the daytime, we spent the evenings working in the planning of the next one.

For us it’s simply a case of picking yourself up, dusting down and going for it again.

We have already booked and paid for next Easter and are waiting for flight release on next October.. Onwards and upwards! … we shall prevail.

Horrible feeling been there 3 times since covid.
We got back from Gran Canaria last Friday which was nice but not Orlando we would normally have been in Orlando early October but didn’t even bother booking it this time.
Hopefully you’ll get there soon.

We should have flown yesterday with the soon to be 11 year old Granddaughter. Had a full on plan of what to do and all geared around her. Hey ho, onwards and upwards.

We had kept it as a surprise for her so thankfully she wasn't disappointed.

We’ve all had the missed departure days, we have noted it and mentioned it, but beyond that haven’t really focused on it.

I had planned to go last month using a loan from my elderly mother’s savings account that I had access to, and now she has stopped my access so I have no idea when I will next be able to afford to go back😢

I have lost track of how many missed departure days we have had now (who am I kidding, I know exactly how many). Our 8th missed departure day is Saturday and I had managed to book Beach Club using my DVC points that all had to be cancelled 😭

I note it, have a 3 second sulk and then plan the next trip! It’s what keeps me going 😊

And doubtless found solace in the fact that you still had money in the bank to spend on a vacation in the future, rather than having to save up for it.
