No Morocco holidays now

Morocco has banned flights from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands due to concerns over Covid-19 infection rates.

The UK Foreign Office said the ban has been put in place by the Moroccan Government and will come into force from midnight tonight.

It said: “The Moroccan Government has announced the suspension for an unspecified period of direct flights between Morocco and the UK (and Germany and The Netherlands) with effect from midnight 20 October.

I wonder how many other countries will do this soon .
Given the size of our population the death rate for the UK is a disgrace .I noticed a while ago they stopped mentioning it in the daily figures and focussed I the
“Success” of the vaccination roll out instead .

Morocco is another country I wouldn’t visit on a free holiday, but my condolences to anyone who wanted to go.

I went when I was 19 .Still have scar on my shoulder from something that but me while there.Had to go to the Drs a couple of weeks on return as the bite had started to become a hole with white lines running from it where it was septic.
If I see pictures of it I can instantly smell it - a lot gas probably changed but seeing camels heads hanging up in market stall has always stayed with me .
Good luck to anyone that goes
