New York with a single vaxxed teen

We are due to fly to NYC on 19th. 11 year old not vaccinated and 14 year old with one vaccination.

From what I've read the key to NYC requires proof of at least one vaccine, so she should be ok, but what can we use as proof? would the GP print anything off? I can take her card but obviously that's not official proof.

I’m so glad you asked this question. I was so happy to hear that we could fly that it took me a good half hour to remember that we had a 3 night stay in New York. 🙈

Is that the rules then? That they only need one vaccine? Both of my teens are single jabbed which gives me hope.

I think you can ring your doctor and ask them to link children to your nhs app. So you would be able to see their vaccination status the same way you can see yours.

Hopefully, Wales will have a similar system. It’s so frustrating that there isn’t one system for the whole of the U.K.

1 dose for 12+ to get into restaurants and attractions in New York. Broadway requires 2 doses.
