Looking at my ticket prices spreadsheet, Disney tickets were 'officially' £330 back in 2016. That's probably what I paid because I stayed onsite - others might have managed to get a cheaper deal by buying from another seller.
Next year the tickets are £469 (they are date-based so might be more at other times). So, yes, that's a £140pp increase over 6 years. That works out at an annual increase of just over 8% per year. That's normal for Disney. Over the last 10 years, the UK 14-day ticket prices have consistently increased by, on average, 9% a year (give or take a percentage). During some of those times in the past, very little new stuff had been added. This time at least there are several new lands and rides for us to see.

Yes, that was back when the ticket was just for one theme park, with far less attractions, no fastpasses, no access to waterparks/mini-golf, no Memory Maker, no park hopping, etc. Also when less people visited because, relatively speaking, it was more expensive to visit WDW back then than it is now - although that did mean MK was less crowded. Bonus for those who could afford it!
Still, about £100 for 14-days back in 1980. Sounds great compared to today's prices. I always like an excuse to get out these old images so here they come again... 1-day ticket prices throught the ages: Percentage increase in 1-day ticket prices from one year to the next: There was a huge percentage increase in price in 1982 and those large (relatively-speaking) increases continued for the next 5 years or so.
