Do you get decent Black Friday deals on Hotels ?

I would (and do) always contact hotels direct by phone (or email and phone ) with the best price I can find online and ask them to beat it. 99% they can - one on this trip said that cant but they wont charge me for 2 days out of the 7, the other gave me a hefty discount. Disney has yet to reply ….. if they dont then I will call them 28 days out and say neat this price or I walk (and I am happy to walk) - CA are still struggling speaking with friends in Palm Springs over the last few days a lot of overeas and even emetic visitors are yet to return - eg the test and conditions for Canadians is so. Much stricter than for us Brits so one of my travel companions cant visit (not worth it for 16 nights - his words) so my money is king as thy all want the trade
