Online Check in - Disney hotels

Hi,

If we do online check in does that mean we don't need to turn up to the hotel reception now to activate our tickets etc? How soon can we complete online check in?

Also I am having trouble doing online check in - it just keeps returning to the sign in page when I enter the details and click on Save? Is anyone else having this trouble? Am I trying it too soon - we check in on 1st Jan?

Are you using the desktop or app version? I had problems checking in, but it finally worked on the mobile app for me after a few goes.

Thanks - I will try the app. I have been using the desktop version, I did try different browsers but it was the same result, but I will give the app a try - thank you!

Yay the app worked - thank you so much!

So now I have completed online check in, can I go directly to a park in the morning without checking in again at the hotel? I am staying at Dolphin the night before our POP Century stay so it would be great to leave the bags there to be transferred and walk over to Epcot - but will our park tickets work ok? We have old magic bands which I hope still work for park entry and will get some new ones later that day.

You should be fine, since online check-in is a full check-in now (one of the nice Covid related changes!) so will activate everything. But there's a guest relations window at International Gateway if it's not working, or it's a quick trip on the Skyliner to Pop if that fails.
