Spa: DL Hotel versus Vienna House Dream Castle

I am planning on going back to DLP in September for the runDisney races. I'd like to try to schedule a massage after the half on Sunday and see that there is a spa at the DL Hotel and one at the Dream Castle.

Has anyone on here tried one or the other? There is a price difference.
I will be staying at Sequoia Lodge and realize I couldn't walk to the Dream Castle, if I went for a massage there. Are taxis available, as I assume I would not be able to get on their park shuttle, since I am not staying there?

While I have been to DLP (I actually have been to ALL of the parks) but it was in 2010 and I arrived there on the Eurostar and did a day tour of Paris that left form Hotel New York, so I appreciate your insight! Thank you!

You could get the shuttle to Dream Castle they don't check when you get on if you are staying at the partner hotels. Have stayed there but didn't use the Spa so can't comment on that sorry

I would do the DLH because you can’t beat the pink palace! Followed by a Glowtini in the Fantasia Bar.

We stayed at the dream castle hotel as an add on to our Davy Crockett ranch stay last year (so we weren’t wasting a park day traveling) and they definitely didn’t check who was staying where on the buses to and from the parks.

I would go for the DLH - the hassle of getting too and from the Dream Castle might negate the benefit of having a nice relaxing massage. I like Gill's idea; you could then treat yourself to a glowtini afterwards in the Cafe Fantasia bar.

Once I get my race registration (probably next month, when bib only goes on sale), I will email the DLP hotel's spa to check out pricing/discounts. Thanks for the info!
