We have also put an offer in on some Copper Creek points (With Jason at Buy and Sell DVC), so fingers crossed if they both go for ROFR and it doesn’t take place, maybe they’ll be closed sooner rather than later!

The only trouble is getting them notarised here in the UK. I’d better do my homework to see if the man we’ve used previously, is actually working at present!

Anyone had a contract notarised in the UK recently (since lockdown)
The ‘rules’ have been relaxed to permit remote notarisation, since lockdown, so you should be able to find a notary public who can do this for you. Our local NP is notarising documents on his firm’s car park, with clients remaining in the car, to ensure social distancing.

We only had to use a notary public for the sale of a small contract but not for a purchase of resale points.

Well, I was surprised at this mention too, as we bought in 2008 (Vero Beach) from The Timeshare Stire and didn’t have anything notarised. The only time we have is when we sold our Vero Beach contract in 2014. We had a notary come round to our house to do it. It cost £90.

So I’m not sure if things have changed at all?
