Holidaying in the UK was not that bad!

This is our last night in Cornwall. It has been fabulous weather ( apart from last Sunday when it poured down but it can do that anywhere) and we are all keen to book again next year ! The beaches have been as good as any in the Med.
All those who say they won’t “waste” money holidaying in the UK you don’t know what you’re missing !

Totally agree... we've just returned from the Lakes and on our 4th UK trip in September, had a brilliant time on them all so far 🤞

When we couldn't go back to our villa last year we booked 2 nights in Portmeirion, we were given the flat in the Tower. If anyone has watched Michael Ball in Wales tonight they will know how pretty the village is and trip that we have wanted to do since the 60's

Last month we went to North Norfolk with our daughter and Partner and their 5 month old golden Retriever he loved the beautiful golden beaches, went on a boat to see the seals at Blakeley Point and went on the Poppy Line to Sheringham, had a brilliant 4 nights.

My hubby is cumbrian and we live in Kent, before covid we regularly had a week up the Lake District and visited family too whilst enjoying ourselves, we also got married in a gorgeous little church near Pooley Bridge, we have often taken our pooch with us as she enjoys it too, nothing wrong with holidaying in UK except the weather sometimes.
