Avis Preferred - EU vs US
Hi all, first time poster although been a lurker for many a year!
Just after a bit of help please... I've been visiting the wonderful sunshine state for 20+ years (prior to the dreaded C-19) and always rent a car to see as much of the place as possible. I have normally always used Alamo, but with the prices as they are have now gone for an Avis booking for a trip in May. As I love the freedom of skipping the counter after a long flight, I can see that Avis offer a preferred programme where this is an option, however it seems that I can only register for the EU programme. Is it safe to assume that this will work when I arrive at MCO and I'll be able to walk direct to the garage? I also noticed on registration that they needed me to visit the counter to "validate my registration" - is this anything anyone has encountered? Thanks all and keeping everything crossed that this years trip actually happens... ! |

The two should be linked and I have done this in the past. You might just need to contact them to add your booking to your account if it is not showing - especially if you have booked as part of a package.

Superb, thanks - have booked via the amazingly priced Andy @ DFCH, so will need to tinker around once everything is sorted. Thanks for the response
