Pre Departure Test Help

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I’m finding Virgin’s pre departure guide so confusing.
4 days of trying to get an answer from Virgin via email, Twitter and phone has proved impossible.
So, having very recently recovered from Covid, my NHS app now shows a certificate that states recovered from covid.
119 have said this is what I need for travel, yet the Virgin guide says not to use the NHS certificate.
Does anybody actually know if the NHS app certificate can be used because it’s also the NHS app that shows I’m fully vaccinated too?

We used the nhs app as proof of covid but we also had a letter from the doctor specifying we had had covid and fully recovered

Thank you. I’m going to ask my Dr again if he’ll type a letter just in case.
Finally got through to Virgin customer care yesterday, 2hrs 18mins on hold. I also had a reply to my Twitter post.
Basically the answer is, they don’t know if the check in staff will or not accept the NHS Covid digital certificate that shows you have recovered from Covid.
Unfortunately as nice as the ladies on the phone are, she even admitted that they know no more than me and have to read from their website just as I can.
The company’s customer service is appalling and certainly not what it used to be or upto the hype that they portrayed
