We popped into Aldi (192 east)a couple of times during our last visit for a browse.
We buy 3L milk when in Florida and Aldi was a lot cheaper than Walmart/Publix.
Walmart price was $3.69 and Aldi $2.39. Orange juice was also cheaper.
Pinot Grigio wine was also very cheap at around $2.50 for a 75cl bottle.
Bread was well priced and a good choice.
The store was quite busy which is a good sign as well.
DW is coeliac and they had a good choice of gluten free products as well.

We use Aldi all the time whilst on holiday.
Very much like in the UK, Aldi provides a cheaper alternative to the likes of Walmart or Publix. Aldi has many of its own brands which are as good if not better than the originals at half the cost.

It will definitely keep costs down, small stores, a lot less stuff, much higher chance of coming out just with the things that you went for and you'll save a LOT of time.

We always use Aldi both here and in the USA.
Many items are exactly the same as home and it’s definately cheaper, we even take our UK Aldi shopping bags but that might be a bit much for some 😊

Great thanks everyone! I live Aldi here and lucky to have one local. Sounds like a great new place to shop on holiday where we have always done either Walmart or publix

Where we live we have two ALDI stores already open, and another being built now. We went to the Aldi on Sandlake Road a few trips back, we found it by accident and popped in. Like here, the shop is quicker and easier than a large supermarket one. Prices seemed good, but I never compared the prices to here.
With our last two villa stays, booked through BA, we have added the starter pack to the booking, which gives us the basics for when we get to the villa, I’m sure most items are from Aldi, and are all fine. Bread, milk, OJ, tea, coffee, sugar, butter etc.

Where we were in August (Bradenton ) there is a Neighbourhood Walmart across the road from the Aldi, the Aldi was was price matched by the Neighbourhood Walmart for the basics milk bread etc. But interestingly the Superwalmart up the road was way dearer
