Am tempted to agree with 1RGJ. I saw those prices too and it’s virgin economy light so no bags or seat res. If it did have them included I might have booked.

Waiting for this alleged BA sale and also I got flights one year for £1600 for the 4 of us but that was booking in July so don’t want to wait that long.

I’ve bought the DC tickets in blue Friday sale so we’re definitely going!

I'm looking at VA Man- Mco 3rd to 25th August and today I noticed prices were a little bit more reasonable.

11.05 via Atl (2 hour 5 min changeover) arrives MCO at 18.40
Coming back is 1525 change at JFK (1 hour 7 mins) This is £552 per person.

Or 1110 direct to MCO for 1510 and coming back via ATL with 1 hr 54 minutes to change. This is £652 per person.

So with 4 people the first option would give £400 towards the car.

Do you think we'd be better waiting for Christmas sales ? These prices are more than have ever paid indirect but there hasn't really been any cheap prices for more than a month.
I got those, well both ways through Atlanta and if you want luggage that's extra.
I wanted Manchester to Orlando, I live in Manchester so didn't want to travel to London.
I'm not driving so didn't want Tampa, Miami or FLL.
Not been since 2012, had to cancel 2014 so happy to be booked now. I was debating waiting for the sales but not going to worry if they do come cheaper , I'm just glad I can stop looking 😁

I’m still waiting. Need to fly on 30/07 - 13/08 in/out MCO so not much flexibility but can do london, Bristol or Cardiff. Lost my flights this year due to ill health so desperately hoping for cheap tickets just in case it happens again. Hotel & tickets already booked and paid in full.

Presume you've set up searches on Kayak and Skyscanner?

I'm still waiting patiently for flights any time during 6 weeks summer hols. I was sooo disappointed; I had the bargain flights to Tampa in my basket and my bank stopped the payment (logged as fraudulent activity) and I lost my seats. We won’t be going again, unless I can get indirect flights for under £500.00.

Thanks. Yes and searching netflights, google, and all the airline pages daily lol. Had 6 weeks sick leave so it became a bit obsessive! Thank goodness I’m back in work now

Booked mine tonight. Have only recently made the plan to go back (husband took a little persuading!) so didnt want to wait too long for for flights. I was planning on a flight into Tampa, but got direct flights today for <£2000 for 2 adults and 2 kids, flying LGW - MCO with BA. price has just dropped since I looked 2 weeks ago. Flying 18/8 - 3/9. Local schools term starts on 4/9 so really hope we have an inset day!

Try Travel Planners for flights - we had great indirect one with United although this was to Tampa. They did Offer us indirect Virgin to MCO but we wanted Tampa as it was cheaper. Give them a call or fill in their online form on webpage and see what they come up with. They are very flexible and if what they come up doesn't work for you they will go and find more options.

I preferred them doing the searching and me sitting at home waiting for the prices from them. What they came back with for us was a package as that's what we asked for but it was way cheaper than we could find DIY online.
