After experiencing Flight of Passage today (first time this trip but went on it last year) I said I’d come for a day just to do that.

Well after thinking about it and watching flight prices come down and down again then back up and down...

...I booked flights for a week in the middle of December LGW-MCO with VA.

Just got car, tickets and accommodation to sort now!

Trying to keep this very cheap, got a great start with the flights @ £260 pp. So somewhere to stay next... three adults going so a two bedroom condo or suite would be my preference I guess. Off to start the next search...

So excited 😆

We have done a week several times, we have also done 5 days and 3 days and I'll be back for 3 days in February to watch DD run the Princess Half.

We find we take these holidays differently, we concentrate on just what we want to do rather than fitting in everything, we plan well and we love it.

We are lucky as we get a lot of reward flights with DH work so the flights aren't too expensive for us as that would normally be the stumbling block.

If I could go for 3 weeks every time I would but with work commitments it wont happen so I enjoy small doses of the Magic and at least I don't usually get much jetlag that way.

We are doing a cheeky week next week, would have stayed longer, but staying an extra day humped the bargain late deal price by £2K

Done a week a few times back in the Teletext days when looking for a cheap holiday prior to the big one. Went to the waterparks, shopping and generally chillled. Would do it again no problem.

Done a week now twice!

Neither time we did parks, just more relaxing, shopping eating, enjoying ourselves.

Looking at doing another one week trip next year.

We did a week last month, after booking last minute. It was our first trip with our baby (4 months) and anything longer than a week would have been too much at that age.

Saying that, me and my husband both said we would go for a week again without a doubt if the choice was a week or not going at all!

Well we’re back from our week now and I’m honestly not sure if I’d do it again. We were totally exhausted having crammed so much in. We didn’t really get the same opportunity to relax as with a 2 week holiday.
