Must see beaches on The Gulf Coast ?

We are staying In Bradenton for 9 nights and plan on visting Anna Maria Island and Seista Key, are there any other beaches we should visit ? Dont mind a drive and love a gorgeous beach with clear water, any recommendations thanks

The gorgeous islands of Sanibel & Captiva are worth a visit, with some stunning beaches, just at Ft Myers in SW Florida.

You could head to the Cape Haze peninsular where beaches stretch from Manasota to Stump Pass, which is a state park, so sand, sea oats and sand banks. Then head to the beautiful Gasparilla Island which has 3 to 4 beaches to choose from. Our favourite is South beach by the lighthouse, clear waters, soft sand and South Beach Bar & Grill for a late lunch or supper.

Middle beach, Manasota is the first picture in my signature and below is Stump Pass and South Beach and one of the view from the grill.

We love Madeira beach and closeby the inland waterway Hubbard's Marina at John's Pass which is a fantastic mix of restaurants - bars - shops. Boat rental also available.

Take a trip over the Skyway Bridge and visit Fort Desoto beach.

Lovely beaches, interesting history and sunsets to die for.
