Bare breasts in cabaret shows are the norm in Paris. There were plenty of French families with kids in the audience so it doesn't seem to be something that bothers them. After all us blokes flash our chests all summer long.
You should look up how the Can Can was originally performed! |

Lovely day. I would love to do the Opera tour sometime, never yet been inside.
Galerie Lafayette and Printemps are two places we have found a handy lunch before now! The Lido show looks amazing as does the food.

Gill - you must do the Opera Garnier - it is like a palace. One thing I didn't realise is that the boxes are totally different to ours. They are like long corridors some 20 yards long. They would have dining tables where they sat, ate, drank and chatted! If they felt so inclined they would wander to the front of the balcony and maybe watch the proceedings for a while before returning back to food and drink. For me the only thing that ruins it is that ghastly painting by Marc Chagall around the chandelier which was done in 1964. Thankfully it is on a board over the original so could be removed. But do go visit - it is well worth it.

You just go in and buy tickets on the day but I think you can also pre book on their website.
You can also book via Viator: viator/Paris-attract...-a7802?pref=02 Edited at 01:23 AM. |
