Boardwalk view room requests?
Hi all
We were fortunate enough to be able to book a boardwalk view studio at BWV for our August trip, and I was wondering if there are any room requests worth noting on my booking? Are some Boardwalk views better than others? I realise that room requests are just that, and by no means guaranteed, but if there are some rooms that have better views than others, then it's worth at least putting in a request Your thoughts/advice are much appreciated |

We were below the waves. So the balconies weren't covered over or had an obstructed view. I don't think I'd like ground floor, as the pp says the higher the better.
If you walk right along the corridor towards Duelling pianos there's a door that will bring you out to the walkway to HS. A bit of a shortcut. |

Thank you both ever so much for replying
I will definitely put in a request for a high floor, as I didn't realise that there were ground floor rooms, as in thought they were all store fronts, so I definitely don't fancy a room right on the front like that, as I wouldn't imagine you'd actually get a view as such, as you'd be at floor level Thanks agin, that's been really helpful |

There are only 2 ground floor rooms on the Boardwalk view side. We had one on our first trip. I actually liked it but do agree a higher room will give a better view. The door at the end of the corridor is very useful and puts you close to The Swan / Dolphin and the path to the parks.

Thank you for the photos -thats great!
Bev, it's good to know you were happy with the ground floor Can I ask, do you get a patio or somewhere to sit out and watch all the action that's private for you? And if you draw the curtains, did it feel private, or were you aware that the boardwalk guests are right there? I think I'll be happy with whatever, in the sense that I'm looking forward to a few nights of people watching - we are transferring to AKV for 8 nights afterwards, so will get our peace and quiet there - so won't mind 3 nights of a bit more excitement! I'm just hoping to see the BWVs at their best, as it's our first ever stay there, and it's been quite difficult to get the boardwalk view room, so it might be a while before we manage one again! |

There is a little patio with bushes in front of it.
This was our view and you can see the patio through the window I wouldn't say it was particularly private but I wasn't uncomfortable. We don't spend a lot of time on the balcony anyway but we did go out and watch the fireworks.

You can see the patios here, there is a studio and one bed which are the DVC showroom, and then another studio and one bed next door to Jelly rolls which are used for guests. We were in the very last room, next door to Jelly Rolls. |
