Wilderness lodge DVC - Boulder Ridge - how is it now?

Hello,

Does anyone know what's going on at Wilderness Lodge DVC bit now? Is it still a building site? When is it due to finish? Thinking of Sept this year but may be a bad idea!

I think I read somewhere that the new pool area should be completed in 'Summer 2017'

Thanksboth, those pics were fabulous! Definitely not somewhere I'd want to stay in DVC atm. We've therefore gone for the Poly

we had a poly studio last year and it was amazing, was thinking of wilderness lodge for September this year but was worried that the resort wouldn't be quite finished, so we have gone for beach club and jambo and will save wilderness lodge for next year

We're staying at the Poly for 5 nights this year too! Soo excited! Have you any photos?
The only downside is the fact it's a studio so no washing machine. Did you use the laundry facilities there?

We stayed in a studio at the Poly last October and loved it!
The rooms are lovely and the split bathroom is a real plus
We did use the laundry room which was just downstairs and was very well equipped. There was even a TV and comfortable seating if you wanted to wait down there for your washing to finish and plenty of table space for folding and such
You'll love your stay there!
If you have a lakeside view, put in a request for a high floor as you'll get a great view of the fireworks from your balcony

So pleased to hear you loved Poly! That's exactly how we felt about Wilderness as it really does look bad now. We stayed when they just started in in 2015 but it went so bad then. I love Jambo, in fact I put that and WL on a par for me as I really do like them both. Not stayed at BC but always wanted to but they didn't have availability this year ☹️ So I think you've picked some awesome accommodation there!

Yey! I was wonder about laundry too as I've put in a request for Tokelau as we've only got a standard room so no laundry in the block. Moorea has it in the block though which is a huge plus! I've been watching lots of YouTube vids, I can't wait! Hope you have a wonderful trip.
