Cafe Mickey breakfast wasn't great. I would assume the breakfast in the hotels is a bit better - but frankly it's never going to be a 'full English'.

Take some flap jacks and buy a croissant, save your money for lunch and dinner is my advice.
I didn't know they did croissants at the station. One of those would be fine for us for breakfast.

they do a "grab and go" at the station too, at the Relay/Casino shop, its around 5 euros for a coffee, a pastry, and an OJ.

Yes, highly recommend this if you want something quick. It suited us anyway

Sounds like that's a good option.

Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with it, but I think they've chosen the wrong way to stop it.
But they'll be paying for it rather than it being free so it won't matter, eg a family of 4 staying 4 nights would be paying approx £200 for breakfast on top of the normal room and tickets cost which they wouldn't have paid using the old system. Or they might think it's too expensive and get breakfast somewhere cheaper.

Croissant would suit me down to the ground, thank you, really useful to know 😊

Let's be honest. It was NEVER free. The cost was built into the room rates. Bean counters don't ever give anything for free. They've now decided that the cost has become such that they aren't making a profit on it so if you want breakfast you pay extra.

My understanding is that the only thing that will change at ge Cheyenne is how busy it will be! The food will still be continental, but with less people in there as they don't want to "pay" for it (which you already were, in a sense, within your holiday price).

I'm alright with a continental breakfast though... and would book it again just for convenience.

We're staying at the Cheyenne for our cheapy 5 days in May that I booked last year, so will have breakfast included as I booked it before the change... so watch this space!
