Inventions help.
Hi
I've just booked our meals & have a quick question about inventions which I forgot to ask the girl on the phone We've only ever had dinner there so this time we've booked lunch for our last day as we're celebrating 2 birthdays! Is the lunch buffet the same as dinner buffet as we really enjoyed it, & also there is 13 in our party, 7 children ranging from 5 till 14! Can the 10, 11, 13 & 14 year old's pay the children price for the buffet or would they be classed as adults? Thanks.

I looked at this but got put off with the 3 lunchtime sittings (12:30, 1:30 or 2:30) so you only get max 1 hour to eat, see characters and leave? Seems expensive if you're that limited

I booked for 2pm, so I'll be sitting for as long as I need to! There will be 13 of us so an hour just won't be enough time!

You're not limited to an hour to eat. They simply have different booking times so that it spaces out when everyone arrives. Also (more importantly) how many people storm the different parts of the buffet at the same time and the food can be fully stocked and easily replenished.
When we visit, we are often in Inventions for a good 2-3 hours at a minimum, enjoying the food, meeting all the characters and taking it all in. |

Brilliant just as I thought, we've been for dinner before & we've never felt rushed at all. Thanks.

So do you have to book Inventions for either 12:30, 1:30 or 2:30? That's not a problem, but would be handy to know when I call to book meals. When we booked last year, I just asked for times off the top of my head and they were all fine, so I didn't realise some restaurants have specific time slots.

I think this must be a fairly new thing (in the last few years anyway). It makes sense. Although we often spend a good few hours in there like others, and we've never felt rushed. In fact quite the opposite at lunch time, we have felt a bit more rushed at dinner time but only because it was incredibly busy.
