Mums Going To Iceland And Numerous Hotels In Florida .

Making the most of half term this week and putting the finishing touches to our April fools day trip .
Actually booking car hire shouldn't be a finishing touch but never mind it's done now !

I have attempted trip reports previously but never get far , thought I would give the photo app a whirl.
We are :Me , celebrating my 45th birthday on this trip . Always happy that my birthday usually falls in the Easter holidays 😀.

DH , 6 weeks younger than me .
DD , 17 .. how did that happen .
DS , almost 14 .
Just having a debate on how many trips to Florida we've had , we think it's 6 . We like hotel hopping and making things as complicated as possible, we have been on Disney cruises on our last 2 trips and discovered Anna Maria Island on our last visit in 2015 ❤️.
We are also fans of cheap indirect flights , this time via Iceland 🇮🇸. We thought we would embrace this opportunity and are staying in Reykjavik for 2 nights en route.

So our trip will commence with a trip to the must do / tourist trap of The Blue Lagoon . I do love swimming outdoors and am trying to block out the fact that an element of nudity might be required in the changing rooms .

Then it's off to the OK hotel for 2 nights .. hope it is etc ...

A drive around part of the Golden Circle the following days should resurrect my immense geographical knowledge of tectonic plates .

Then back on Icelandair to Orlando . We arrive quite late and will catch the Disney Express to Art of Animation for one night .

We had a mooch around a few years back and I fancy a swim in the Nemo pool. I am just hoping we get there in time to get some dinner in the food court . I think we land at MCO at nine .

Sounds fab. My DS and DIL were in Reykjavik in the middle of January and the absolutely loved it, they did the Blue Lagoon and the Golden Circle. They loved the Blue Lagoon and definitely plan to go back. I hope you enjoy it as much. You'll definitely need warm boots and coats! Your trip sounds fab.
