Leap Year at Disney 2012

Disney has confirmed the earlier reported rumours that both Disneyland in Anaheim and Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, will celebrate the 2012 leap year by opening for 24 hours.

For the first time ever both Disney parks will open from 6:00 a.m. 29 February 2012 for a full 24 hours.

Just wondering how this will affect crowd levels for that week - we only have tickets for 2 days at Disney & were planning Mon at Hollywood Studios & Wed or Thurs at Magic Kingdom - I quite like the idea of going to Disney on leap year but i'm guessing everyone else will too lol

So you could go to a park all morning/afternoon... have a sleep and then turn up before midnight at MK... stay there for as long as you want and it only counts as one day assuming you have the park hopper option?

what a great idea by Disney, i presume a quiet time of the year, how many disney nuts will attend the park, just to say that they have done it,once in florida they will require accomadation food and more than likely stay and attend other parks.
