Great thread. We have 3 weeks in august planned with no Disney or Universal tickets. We are really excited about doing all these different things. In previous years when we had park tickets we always felt we had to get our money's worth out of them and never had time to do anything else, or relax for that matter.

We also fancy a visit to a rodeo and also a trip out to the state park where you cook your own pancakes (sorry I can't remember the name). Plus plenty of shopping of course!

There is state park called Rock Springs but the one we went to is Rock Springs at Kelly Park which is near Apopka. The river runs for quite a while but the final location is not far from the car park. Swimming is great because it's quite shallow and the water is warm. Don't forget to take a waterproof bag for car keys etc.

After spending loads on park tickets we did this the last day in 2009 and the kids said it was the best bit if the holiday!

How were security about letting you through and was there a parking charge?

We love games of adventure golf and you can pick up discount vouchers all over for diffent courses.

Old Town, Celebration, Winter Park, Harry P Leu Gardens, State Parks, DTD, Kissimmee Rodeo, Beach Days are some of our favourite cheapies.

a 14 days ticket to Wet and Wild only cost £33 ish and we find these very good value

same, we're planning a non park week...

- Definitely going to do Kelly Springs, also going to do Lake Louisa State Park which is more for biking/walking than swimming.

- Doing an afternoon Golfing for DH

- Gonna do Showcase of Citrus which is free to get in

Also doing a mall but obviously that can get expensive unless you like window shopping.
