The Boathouse - Thoughts?

We are flying to the mouse in May and whilst we are there we are meeting up with some american friends, whom we have never met. Its a surprise (being arranged with their daughter) so we have arranged an ADR at the Boathouse. They will turn up for dinner and we will be waiting.

As this is a special occasion we agreed to go the Boathouse - I dont normally bother with sit down meals like this so this is a first for me. I have however been looking at the menu and well its quite pricey. Can anyone whose been tell me what its like? I really hope I havent made a big mistake agreeing to this.

It's beautiful. It's not that expensive to be fair but you can go higher if you wish. It has an extensive menu as well. The coconut shrimp is beautiful. I'm sure you will love it.

It's great, loved it there. There are plenty of cheaper dishes - it's more the seafood that is expensive as its very high quality. I had the impression it was very expensive before going, but was pleasantly surprised

I have been chatting on my cruise group site and have had many recommendations for an item I spotted- filet mignon sliders and fries- $12!
Heard the fish and chips for $15 are also good and all are huge portions. I am sure you can eat well for a normal price.

We dined there twice during out last visit late 2015.

It is just excellent

A very good choice of food and reasonably priced

Sea food to die for

On both occasion we sat outside

We went twice last year, once paid cash and once on the ddp . Both meals were excellent and I would thoroughly recommend, yes it can be expensive, but the food is very good.

Edited at 10:15 AM.

The price range there is tremendous - you'd have to be careful not to waste DDP credits.
