Solid white chocolate figures - to the room?

Anyone ever done this?

was originally going to order a cake for my son's birthday to be delivered to our meal reservation but realised we then have the rest of the cake to either cart around or waste.

He is Donald Duck obsessed and notice you can get solid white choc figures. I was thinking of ordering one of these to be delivered to our room whilst we are out so it is there when we get back as a surprise.

Anyone ever done this? was it there for when you were expecting it?

We are staying club level so I assume we could ask them to check it arrives when expected?

It depends which resort you are staying at - some resorts only have certain figures in the bakery. It's usually handled by private dining so you can arrange a delivery time but it's something I would be asking the IPO staff to help you with by checking availability and arranging it in advance to avoid disappointment.
