Alamo Guide (Accelerated Check-In & Skip The Counter - Updated)

The car will have a full tank when you pick it up no matter what option you pick. All it means is if you pay for the fuel you can bring it back empty if you don't pay for the tank of fuel you have to fill it back up before you return it. In the past I always paid for the fuel and extra driver however this time I've not the cost of fuel over there is no where near the £81 you quoted and my wife would not drive the car anyway. I tend to fill it up in Disney area on last day and it's still showing full when I drop it off.

Hi

Really want to check in online and skip the counter, but when I get to the stage to add the additional driver (£0) as included in the price - the "add" button will simply not add the details to the button and I can only cancel which obviously does not add the driver!
Tried on the US and UK site but same result- I am doing this on Safari (mac) - does anyone know if this is a problem?

Just read that additional driver can only be added at the counter, does anyone know if this is true?

Yes unfortunately it is , I emailed Alamo to ask

Thanks Martyn7836 I tend to agree. I'd probably drive once or twice at the most and certainly wouldn't look forward to it. Think I will leave it.

I did OLCI and Skip the counter with Netflights Alamo booking. Using a PC and Internet Explorer it wouldn't let me add the extra driver details. I kept getting an invalid message. It worked fine using Google Chrome for the additional driver details. Not sure if this helps any with the problem you are having.

Thankyou- I will give this a go tomorrow, I did not get a message though, it would just not submit the additional driver derails - fingers crossed

Thanks for this- I downloaded Chrome and success!
I logged in, entered additional
Driver details and it went straight though, received the email to say that I logged in and can 'skip the counter'
