It is an important part of keeping us safe and secure when flying.
Of course it's important but it can be handled efficiently. They don't do anything more than any other major airport but they take a lot longer to do it

Every time I use MCO it's been the same story. It's not like it's a one-off which you can certainly accept, it's every time so that just smacks of poor planning and/or execution.

Never had a problem with departures at Gatwick or Heathrow. Barcelona on the other hand was even worse than Orlando
I don't think it is the most efficient security either, they could definitely learn a lot from Gatwick or Heathrow, but I don't think I would let a 40 minutes wait at MCO security upon my departure ruin my previous 14 days of holiday. I don't worry about what I cannot change.

Cattle market comes to mind
Was in JFK last August using Virgin. Was through in about 5 minutes. Maybe it depends on which terminal you leave from?

Only use MCO because Virgin don't fly to Tampa. Got our flights as reward seats so had to go with Virgin. I agree that TPA is a much better experience

Agreed.

We don’t want to drive - we’re on holiday!
Magical express is easy and free
