Akershus Royal Banquet Hall - help please!
Hi guys
We are booking some ADRs for our trip in October (just in case!) and are looking to book a lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall as we haven't eaten here before. Just looking for some feedback about lunch there - is it good and do the waiters bring the food to you? Also, there is availability at 2:55 pm but it looks like lunch ends at 3:30 pm, if we take this time, will we be allowed to finish our lunch or will be have to leave at 3:30 pm which wouldn't give us enough time! We are on the DDP. Thank you! Kev |

Hey we didn't do lunch but had a dinner in 2017.
It was a self serve buffet, the food was good but our daughter was sick so we didn't really enjoy it as we should have. We we're planning on going back on this year's trip, will for sure carry over to the rebooking. It's a good place, it's nice that you get the photo pass with Cinderella when you enter, and then all the princesses once inside. They do a walk round and song as well so if you have kids at that age they will be able to join in. |

Akershus is table service with a buffet starter. We ate there twice last year and enjoyed both meals. I have seen poor reviews, but they tend to focus on the type of food rather than quality.
I think it’s unlikely that they’ll be offering the buffet portion in October given the suggested restrictions for re-opening. |

We went in 2018 and loved it and found the food quality to be good.
As stated its a buffet starter, with table service main and dessert on the dining plan for a single credit so good value there as well. Even if we're both awkward with face characters at least Cinderella and Snow White tried really really hard for us to not feel awkward with them. |

We went in October/November, my daughter is all about princesses at the moment (4) we booked this for her. We enjoyed the meal but seeing her face as she did the walk with the princesses was worth it alone.
We got our time wrong, we were 15 minutes late, we had to wait 45 minutes. We hadn’t realise Belle is only their at the beginning to greet guests, then the others do a walk around and a little thing with the kids. But in a nutshell, yes we would book again.
