I thought we were keeping the fact that you were ‘ Handy Andy’ in a former life our little secret MH ?

Anyway the problem with any fabulous project is that the stuff around it suddenly seems tatty and dated

I suggest to finish the look you make something like this for your mum . You know , Uber modern , sleek , superb craftsmanship using only the finest materials .
If you could manage something like this for say £800 I am sure your mum would cry with happiness .

Thank you guys for the fab feedback and I really wasn’t looking for praise because I did it to stop my mum being ripped off and the £1,000 she paid me was just to cover materials and general overheads.
