Good price or not?

Hey everyone,

We finally contacted Disney yesterday and requested a refund for our August trip 😩

Anyways we are now looking at alternative dates. We looked on BA flying out 26th Dec from Glasgow (indirect) Staying at Double Tree Hilton for 14 nights. 2 adults, 2 kids (although one is now classed as an adult) Includes 14 day Disney ticket and 14 day universal tickets. They price was £6107.

We have never priced for this time of year so just wanted to check if this price seems decent?

Thank you

To me that sounds very expensive for an off site stay. Yes time of the year is premium and flights on 26th can be high. Have you a price breakdown or tried pricing as DIY

We fly out on Xmas day direct with Virgin staying at the Rosen plaza for 13 nights, 3 adults £3100. That doesn’t include the car or any park tickets.

It’s hard to tell when the components aren’t split out. It is an expensive time of year for accommodation. Are you in a room or a suite at the Doubletree?

As a guide we as 2 adults stayed in the same hotel in August school holidays for 10 nights back in 2016. Can’t remember the exact cost but it was approx £900pp including flights, it was a package with BA.

The tickets alone would be about £3k so that leaves £3k for four flights and accommodation. I haven’t priced it up exactly, but seems on the right track to me.

I think thats a good price. Not a time of year that I generally go but £856 pp for flight and accommodation is reasonable. Cant do anything about the tickets, always doubles the cost.

Don’t know which Doubletree you are at, but for your dates the one at Seaworld is £100/night (£1400 total) which means your flights are about £2k. That seems ok to me
