Are Miami flights being cancelled?

We have flights booked in Oct half term booked through BA but flying with AA to Miami. Has anyone had their Miami flights cancelled for a refund? It's a fly drive so we can cancel up to 3 weeks before for a voucher for the deposit, I think. But not sure what the position is if Miami flights are still going but we can't get in

I believe some are, some aren't - it really depends which flight you're booked on. For example, BA1528 LHR-MIA (AA39) is still running daily.

But the Miami flights in general are far less likely to be cancelled, although they may consolidate multiple flights into a single flight due to the low demand. If this happens, if your flight number changes, you should then be eligible for a refund.

Its BA1525 going out and BA 1529 coming back. I guess I will just have to wait and see. Hopefully one of the flights will get changed and I can cancel the whole booking.

BA1525 is AA57, which looks like it's not operating at the moment. Keep an eye out for a schedule change which should give you grounds to cancel.

It looks like the AA57/BA1525 is scheduled to restart at the beginning of Winter21 season on 31st October according to the AA and BA timetables.

Have you looked at the BA (and AA) website - the BA1525/AA57 isn't listed at all. So I would suggest you check what information is on your booking through MMB and phone BA because if the flight isn't operating and you are still booked on it you can get a refund now. If a change showing that you have been moved to BA 1528/AA39 that will also mean you can get a refund - no need to wait unless you think the borders will open before then in which case your holiday will go ahead as planned and that would be wonderful for you. Hope you get sorted whatever happens as it is a worrying and unsettling time for everyone with possible trips on the horizon.

Sorry to jump in on your post but we go 16th Oct flying from Heathrow to Miami too, my original email says we was due to go on ba1525 but looking at mmb I have both 1525 and 1528 showing on my flight out!
How does that work and will I still get a refund?
