Presents for toddlers
Hello!
I need some inspiration please - DS turns 2 in a week so trying to think of ideas for Christmas so we can start buying little bits and pieces. He’s getting a little balance bike for his birthday so we’ve already crossed that off our list of ideas. I’m really struggling 🤣 everything I look at seems either too young or too old for him. Any suggestions? He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Frozen, anything by Julia Donaldson (all the books and TV shows) and Bluey is starting to creep in too. At nursery he loves either being in their garden or spending time in the home corner, so I was thinking maybe a little kitchen? And some duplo as he quite likes building towers. Just feel at a bit of a loss this year - normally I’m a bit more sure about what I think he’d like as a gift. |

My daughter had a play kitchen (the Ikea one) for her 2nd birthday. For Christmas a few months later her Grandparents got her a sit in, remote control car. She loves both of these and has had a lot of play from both over that last 2 years (she's now 4). She also loved her little sit at grand piano from Argos, must be the one thing she has played with most over the years.
A mud kitchen for the garden could be another idea, or a play shop with a till, or a Wobbel board. |

My dd will be 2 9 days after xmas. We bought her the pikkler climbing frame and boards from etsy. She is a climber and we gave it to her last week as an early gift, she loves it! She also loves her sisters wooden kitchen too. We are thinking of buying her a scooter. My folks have bought her a playhouse for xmas. My gran got her the little tikes washing machine. She also loves mega blocks in playgroup so we have got her them for xmas and my sister is getting her the mega blocks table. She finds them easier to play with than the duplo which we have loads of! How about a bath toy? It is sooo hard to choose them things! Good luck!

My son absolutely loved his kitchen. It was a really good sturdy little tikes one. I bought him a trolly, plates, pretend food, basket etc he used to make everyone a pretend dinner every evening. He loved hiding toys in the cupboards 🤣🤣
My daughter loved hers too when she was a toddler then my middle son played with hers too. At that age they love to role play 🥰 |
