What do you need hard cash for?

I'm wondering how many things we will need to pay for in hard cash, rather than being able to pay on the Revolut card. We're staying off site, will have a hire car and are only doing Disney and Kennedy Space Centre, plus some shopping, Celebration and a bit of resort hopping.

I'm thinking that we should be able to put tips at restaurants and if we ever get an uber/Lyft straight onto our card.

So that just leaves some miscellaneous tips, Disney parking, money if we buy something like a balloon in the park and a little bit of "walking about" money just in case.

Is there anything else cash only that I'm missing?

You can pay parking with a card. We only ever carry about $10 in one dollar bills - everything else is on a card

.

I didn’t realise that you could pay for Disney parking that way - definitely makes life easier!

Tips for. Anyone who carries your luggage to and from your room for you. Room service delivery person. Housekeeping. Also Toll roads. Some small kiosks in the parks only take cash.

Nothing.

We have done a trip where we didn't spend a single cent in cash.

Yes def. pay for fuel with cash. We usually prepay $20 or $30 and then get change if needed or pay more to fully fill on way to airport. Never hand over your card at the garage or in restaurants for them to take away to card machine, always have the card machine brought to you.

Depends on what road you drive to Space coast, some are tolls and only take cash.
