I did a Christmas Market cruise a couple of years ago, and it was fabulous, we went to Hamburg and Bremen, of which my favourite was Bremen, hands down, such a quaint lovely place - there is a Radisson literally round the corner from the main market area, and the river, which looked good place to stay.

We did Helsinki a couple of years ago, next month we’re off to austria, I booked flights direct with Ryan air, and booked a fabulous hotel via booking.com

Much cheaper than doing a package with travel agents etc

Not always!

When we booked cost of hotel for two nights on Booking.Com, Expedia, etc was more than we paid for the flights, hotel and luxury transfers!

Pays to look around, we have some fantastic deals booking through TA. I always cost both ways -TA and independently.

We went to Cologne a few years ago. Was INCREDIBLY busy. Nice place but so busy was almost impossible to buy anything.

That's a shame - we loved Koln. So many different markets to experience - the Hafen markt was next door to our hotel. Cost us a fortune in gluwein mugs as each had its own 😂

We finally settled on Krakow although Wroclaw looked good too. Really looking forward to it.

So far we have been to Prague, Budapest, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Vienna and this year we are going to Edinburgh. My favourite so far has been Prague. We love the Christmas Markets.
