Lunch at Hollywood and Vine / Hollywood Studios

Hi all

Just starting to look at booking some ADR's, we are looking for a restaurant for lunch at HS and wondered about booking Hollywood and Vine, we haven't been there before and it looks pretty good we are at Sci-Fi diner last time and thought it was okay but nothing special! We like most foods and as lunch is a buffet, we like trying new things.

Is there any other places to eat lunch at HS which are worth looking at?

Thank you

Kev

Hi we went there n November, I wouldn’t say the food was good or bad it was standard nothing special,
We didn’t go for the food, we went for the fab 5 in their holiday outfits tbh and that was fantastic, they all came round a couple of times and it was a fun atmosphere.
We also had a TS meal at 50.s prime time and that was really good, I would go back there and again it’s a really good atmosphere and the cast members are so funny.
We also loved the food in GE and in Docking Bay 7 although it’s a counter service you get a real knife and fork and you can eat at a table shaped as an Xwing !
Also Abc commissary is really good, this is a quick service but again you can pre book which is a quieter side to sit on, real cutlery and your food Is brought over to you.
Have a look at the menus to get an idea, it’s also a good use of your counter service meal and you can save your TS meal for somewhere outside of HWS, maybe take a break and go to the Ale and compass at the yacht club maybe 😀

That's very helpful, thank you.

We did H&V and found the food just OK, but the noise was a bit like the school canteen.

Never again.

Oh dear, not so good!

I guess things are likely to be rather different in October crowd-wise.

Thanks for the info.

We went November 2018 and had Hollywood & Vine as our last lunch (literally ate it and then went to the airport). Food is okay, nothing incredible but certainly edible & tasty, a decent selection as it's a buffet. Character meet and greet was nice and as we were close to Christmas we got a photo with Goofy dressed as Santa. Its a good meal if you want the experience of a character meal, but there are better places to eat!

We didn't find it too loud.
