I'm self-employed, but due to the current contract I have I get around 6 months leave throughout the year, usually though it's 6-8 weeks.

38 days + 15 automatically carried over and we can apply to carry more over if there’s an operational reason why we haven’t been able to take the leave. We also get 5-7 days additional leave for ‘relocation’ if we get posted or a whole load of extra leave on return from Ops.

Mostly I end up automatically carrying over the 15 days as I struggle to use it 🤣 although this year I carried over 28 days as a new posting and work with Covid meant I couldn’t take leave as frequently as normal.

30 days plus bank holidays and we can buy up to five days extra - I usually go for three extra as it’s tax efficient and then matches DH’s leave.
