Esta problem

Hi

I have applied for my esta, when I got to the last bit to looked to have taken payment from my card but then when I checked status it shows as payments not being made.

So I rang the bank who confimed that they can see no payment attempt to go through.

Back to Esta application and it wont let me get into it to pay

Has anyone else had this issue?

The application will expire in 7 days if not paid and you can do another application
Mine timed out this time and a checked back and re applied

I think we've had this before - I waited until the next day and if I remember correctly the website let me pay.

Never did figure out what went wrong but all was fine in the end.

have you tried a different browser/ device?

We had a similar issue on Tuesday, not with ESTA but with booking our trip on the BA website, it just wouldn't allow us to pay.

Tried on a different device, and it worked

Both mine and Richards Estas now approved

Glad to hear it's approved.

FWIW, my payment info was blank until they actually processed the application. Then it all populated and the funds left my account.

Don't think they take the money til the system is processing the application, before that it'll be a preauthorisation

It wouldn't let me go to the payment page. I had to go on a desk top, retrieve the booking and do it from that. All done and approved now just have to wait til Feb before we can go😢

I’ve got this issue now. Says payment status could not be determined and when I try and retrieve with group ID it says can’t be found. If I look them up individually I can see them. Trouble is there’s no way of paying - no button no link etc.
What happened with yours? Did you simply check later and initial payment had gone through? Or did you manage to make a new payment? Stressed!
