Esta-how long to authorise

Hi, just applied for ESTAs, usually back almost immediately- how long are they taking at the moment to authorise

Should at least be approved within the day.

Mine took a little longer than normal, but still back within a few hours.

I’m doing mine atm and it’s kicking me off at the payment page 😩 as if I’m not nervous enough 😢

I renewed mines earlier this year took a couple of hours to authorise and come thru

applications approved- just under an hour- I had an e mail too to state status updated and then went in to check and print off

I did mine yesterday and took just under 90 mins

I suspect the system will be a tad busier with Mondays announcement.

Just praying ours come back ok (I finished them half an hour ago). It seemed to take so long, and I checked them a million times. I swear they add extra questions every couple of years!
