I’m surprised by how good the PI food looks - a good start!
Dave’s reaction to no garden grill made me laugh  I would get a similar reaction from DH for no Homecomin’ so I better be able to get an ADR!

The food looks great at the PI. I loved the look of the cheesecake.

Travel day breakfast
We both had a cup of tea and a crappy cup of coffee in the room as we got ready.  Down at breakfast Dave made me a cappuccino and Kate a latte. The coffee was nice.  Both Dave and I had cooked breakfast. The sausage was very hot and I ended up burning my tongue a little bit.   Kate wasn’t feeling hungry but I managed to convince her to come and have a look. She went for a bagel and a croissant. I toasted the bagel and found some butter for her. She ate about half of it.  Dave and I had a pot of tea and orange juice. Dave finished up with a yoghurt and I had a mini blueberry muffin.   And that was enough for us. Breakfast was tasty, there’s not much that can go wrong on a Premier Inn buffet breakfast. Finally airside and Kate had an iced mocha from Starbucks.  We finally found a table at Wetherspoons. I had gin and Tonic and Dave had a beer.  That's about it for reporting from the UK! Gate info at 1.19pm and the next update will be the plane food.
