Just saying hello to everyone! No news here, just plodding along as before, wishing this windy weather would go away!

We’ve had lots of wind and rain this week, I must admit I find it all far easier to deal with when the weather is good 😀

Any luck with the job hunting yet? Fingers crossed for you xx

This wind is bugging me too. I tried to prune some shrubs in the front garden this morning but the trimmings were blown all over the place so I’ve given up 👺.

My big plan for this week is to go to my favourite garden centre for the first time this year. It’s about 12-15 miles away, I haven’t driven more than 2 miles per journey (supermarket) since March so it will be an adventure !

No, had to go in and clear out my desk though, it broke me! I cried like a baby, so silly. 15 years in a job you love with people you love loke family is hard to let go of... have been looking at jobs and there seems to be a lot of caring, cleaning, or retail. All paying less than I was on. Just going to wait until I feel something is right before I jump in. Thanks for asking x

I have done that many times, moving areas etc etc

My way is to keep looking forward and not looking back.

Life is a journey and an adventure.

Take care

I’m so sorry - I hadn’t realised you’d had the outcome we’re just waiting for ours.

We visited a garden centre a couple of weeks ago, it was such a nice treat as we’ve not been anywhere except the supermarket for months. We were surprised as it wasn’t too busy and it had a clear one way system which was easy to follow (and people actually followed it).

Be warned though, it will tempt you to spend money 😂

It’s not silly at all, it must have been really upsetting after working there so long especially as you enjoyed the job so much 😢

There’s not going to be a lot of decent jobs going at the moment I guess, but hopefully once travel starts up again, a more suitable and enjoyable opportunity will come your way xx

My DH is an experienced factory worker, so relatively unskilled. He’s sadly gone through a few redundancies in his time, and each time has been very stressful and upsetting.

However, when he then gets a new job it’s always been an improvement on the previous one. It’s true that sometimes things turn out better than we imagine.

Our Lay Z Spa was delivered on Friday evening and will hopefully be ready to use this morning.
Just need to check the chemicals and if it’s ok we’ll be able to use it.
Can’t wait
