Holiday Inn Resort LBV

Hi all,

Looking at sept 2023, and getting some decent deals on stopping here with 2 ad and 2 ch, what are peoples experiences?

Looking at the reviews on trip advisor etc, they are very much mixed and few complain about the rooms! We previously stayed at Courtyard by Marriott, but thats coming up quite a bit more at the moment.

Thanks
M

We are stating there in 10 days and have a kids suite booked. Will let you know! From recent reviews, staff and facilities seem great but I have seen the comments about the dated rooms. As long as they are clean and maintained it will do us. Will ipdate your post

We’re booked there for November, and honestly the recent reviews I’ve read are very good. Really looking forward to it 😊.

We arrived here last night and I too was a little reserved after reading some reviews. I can update a little but will post more once we have a look around. We arrived via Lyft XL from Mco, getting to the hotel about 9pm. Lyft cost $43 (Uber were quoting $73). Check in was swift and staff polite and friendly. Room has 2 queen sized beds, large built in wardrobe, large undercounter fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Room is huge. Plenty of space to store cases etc. small table to eat at plus the usual desk type table. Unit with 3 large drawers and large tv on top.
Bathroom again is relatively big and the sink unit has plenty of counter top space which allows you to lay out all your toiletries. Dove bar soap at sink. In shower is Dove shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Whole room is spotlessly clean. Reception area was clean and so were the corridors as we walked to the room.
If you have a car there is also plenty if parking outside each accommodation block. We are off to Winter Haven later this afternoon, after MK, to pick up our rental car.
Booked via BA so included resort fee which I think usually is about $25 per night. This includes free parking.
So long story short, so far so good. Long may that last!

Thanks so much for posting.

Keeping an eye on this as I am going in a few weeks.

Any information on breakfast at Applebees (do you need to book?) and the park buses in the morning (better to use taxis?) would be really helpful.

Thanks Happy!

The better half has decided to book the deal we got offered with Virgin, so fingers crossed the hotel is a good base!

Do these stay the same? Where does it drop you as just says Disney. May be cheaper for us to use shuttle there and taxi back as looks like just picks up Epcot?
