BA Car Hire Change with a refund

Hi,

Heads up that I travel on the 14th August and called BA to upgrade to a bigger car, got through in around 15 minutes and managed to successfully move from a Group G to S and receive a £35 refund (after a £100 change fee).

Might be worth checking current costs on Avis vs the value on your Avis App (when you have the booking linked it shows the £ cost of the car hire)

Really impressed with BA.

Does anyone know from recent visits what kind of cars Avis have at LAX in Group S?

Thanks

Yes you need to register for Avis preferred, I then messaged Avis via twitter with my Avis preferred number and the BA booking number (on your car hire voucher) and they link the bookings so you can see it App.

Then the £ is shown under the booking so you can compare to current rates

That’s really good, I rang a while back to change my location to drop off at Anahiem rather than LAX and I couldn’t stick with my 7 seater to do that and had to pay a bit more money. I figured it was worth it though to save the hassle of getting from LAX to Disney.
